Pillar 03 of 12

Self-Discipline & Habits

Do the work even when motivation is low.

Motivation comes and goes. Discipline is what happens on the days motivation doesn't show up. Champions don't feel like training every day — they've just built habits that make training the default.

This pillar is where we turn intentions into automatic behaviour. We map out an athlete's week and identify 2-3 small, non-negotiable habits: a pre-training warm-up, a 5-minute skill top-up, a nightly reflection. Small enough that they can't fail. Repeated enough that they become who the athlete is.

Mentors also help athletes rebuild after slip-ups. Missing a habit for a day is normal. Missing it and quitting is the problem. We teach the "never miss twice" rule and how to bounce back without shame.
