Cancellation Policy
Last updated July 2026
1. Membership & renewal
- Membership is £75 per month, billed to your saved card via Stripe.
- The subscription renews automatically each month on the same date until cancelled.
- One membership covers one household with up to three active athletes aged 8–16.
- There is no minimum term and no additional cancellation notice period.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from your family dashboard (“Manage billing”) or directly in the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation is instant to record; an email confirmation is sent immediately.
3. When cancellation takes effect
Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You keep full access — including scheduled live sessions, dashboards and messaging — up to that date.
4. Final payment
The final monthly payment already taken is not refunded on ordinary cancellation, because service continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds apply only where required by the cooling-off period (§5) or by UK consumer law.
5. 14-day cooling-off period
You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from your first payment. If you cancel within that window and have not requested immediate service, you receive a full refund.
If you have requested immediate access to the membership (a required checkbox at checkout), a fair and proportionate amount may be deducted for services already supplied — including any live sessions attended, mentor-reviewed starting plans issued and digital resources released. Refunds are processed within 14 days of the cancellation request.
6. Scheduled sessions during the notice period
Any live mentoring session already booked within your current paid period is honoured. To rearrange a session, at least 24 hours' notice is required.
Missed sessions and late cancellations count as used. Unused live mentoring minutes do not roll over into a new billing period.
7. Read-only access after cancellation
After the paid period ends, your family and athlete records remain available in read-only mode for 30 calendar days. You can still view assessments, progress reports, mentor notes and badges — but no new activity, worksheets or sessions are provided.
8. Rejoining
If you resubscribe during the 30-day read-only period, the same family and athlete records are reactivated — you will not need to create new profiles solely because the membership was cancelled. Rejoining after the read-only period may require account restoration or a new registration, subject to the applicable data-retention policy.
9. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we email you and give you time to update your card in the Stripe portal before the subscription moves to “past due” or is cancelled. You can restart from your dashboard at any point.
10. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits or removes any rights you have under UK consumer law. If you have a question about a charge, contact hello@championsmentality.com and we will investigate.
