Pillar 01 of 12

Self-Awareness

Know your strengths, emotions and triggers.

Self-awareness is the ability to notice what's actually going on inside you — your strengths, your weaknesses, your emotions, and the triggers that push your buttons. In sport, athletes who know themselves make faster, calmer decisions under pressure because they aren't caught off guard by their own reactions.

At Champions Mentality we start most journeys here. Before an athlete can build discipline, confidence or resilience, they need an honest picture of where they are today. Not a harsh one — an honest one.

In sessions we work on: naming feelings before they take over, spotting the situations that consistently throw you off, understanding your natural strengths as a player and as a person, and building a short daily habit of self-reflection that takes 2 minutes but changes everything.
